Road closure for Tri-Factor Run

This Sunday, July 8, 2012, will see some road closures to facilitate the Tri-Factor run that will take place from 4.30am to 12pm.

A total of 3,000 participants will be taking part in the running competition which consists of various categories for different age groups.

Roads affected are the carriageway of Nicoll Highway towards the direction of Esplanade Drive (between Mountbatten Road and Middle Road) that will be closed from 4.30am to 9.30am.

The extreme left lane of Republic Boulevard (between Raffles Avenue and Republic Avenue), Republic Avenue (between Republic Boulevard and Beach Road), and Crawford Street (between Republic Avenue and Beach Road) will be closed from 5am to 12pm.

Auxiliary Police officers will be deployed at all affected road junctions to regulate traffic and assist motorists.

Parking restriction along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced and vehicles found parking indiscriminately or causing obstruction will be towed away.

SBS and SMRT buses serving the affected roads will also be diverted during the road closures.
