Nissan Sylphy rolling in

Nissan Motor (Thailand) has officially confirmed reports that its new 'C' segment sedan to be launched in the second quarter of this fiscal year will be called "Sylphy".

The car was first shown at the Beijing Auto Show earlier this year and represents a global model for Nissan.

Nissan says "Sylphy" derives from the elemental spirit of air that consorts with those of earth, fire and water, forming a perfectly designed class of vehicles.

The carmaker said that interested customers can "pre-register" for more information, privileges and a launch invitation at www.nissan.co.th from August 31.
