ANYONE for a 650hp Golf? Volkswagen has shoehorned a bi-turbo 6-litre W12 engine into a car based on its hot Golf GTI. The car was unveiled at a GTI festival in Austria recently.

The wild rear-wheel-driven GTI W12-650 concept hits 100kmh in 3.7 seconds and could reach 324kmh - well within the realm of supercars.
