Motorcycle catches fire on PIE

>A MOTORCYCLIST in his late 60s suffered burns after his bike caught fire along the Pan Island Expressway on Monday.

He was travelling towards Changi at about 5.40pm when the rear wheel of his vehicle became dislodged, apparently sparking a fire.

He suffered burns on his abdomen, hands and legs and was taken to Singapore General Hospital.
