Three deadly stretches between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur:
1. Skudai to Ayer Hitam:
Two Singaporean friends died when the Subaru WRX car they were in skidded and spun out of control near Kulai in 2006. Another two passengers were injured.
2. Pagoh to Ayer Keroh:
A charred body was found in a Mitsubishi Evolution car which crashed into a tree near Tangkak in 2006. The Singaporean driver was believed to have been driving at a high speed when he lost control of his car.
A Singaporean couple and their six-year-old son died when their car crashed through a road divider before colliding with an oncoming lorry near Tangkak in 2002.
3. Seremban to Nilai:
Thirteen people died in the worst accident involving Singaporeans when an express bus they were in rammed into a lorry parked at a road shoulder near Nilai in 1996.
