Roads near the Padang will be closed from 4pm to 9pm for the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) 2010 Final Countdown event.
St Andrew's Road, Connaught Drive, Old Parliament Lane and Empress Place will be affected.
Heavy traffic is expected during evening peak hours, and police have advised the public to plan their journey in advance.
