LATELY, it has become difficult for me to steer my car. What could be the problem?

IF YOU need more strength than usual to turn your steering wheel, it could be because of a couple of reasons:

1. Uneven tyre pressure. Check the pressure on all four tyres and make sure they are within specifications.

2. Faulty power steering unit. You'll need to repair or replace your car's power steering pump.

3. Slipped power steering belt. Check and tighten or replace the belt.

4. Damaged steering linkage. Check and repair or replace the faulty steering linkage parts.

5. Front wheel alignment is off. Get a front-end or four-wheel alignment service done.
