German Vettel fastest in testing

Second day of Formula One testing at the Montmelo circuit near Barcelona.

BARCELONA - Germany's Sebastian Vettel was fastest in Tuesday's second day of Formula One testing at the Montmelo circuit near Barcelona.

Vettel's Red Bull car had a best lap of 1min 19.751sec, among the 70 he undertook, after a scare at one point with an explosion at the back of his car following brake and cooling fluid problems.
