Top golfers stand to win a luxury vehicle at the Charity Golf 2007 Tournament organised by the American International Assurance Company (AIA) in aid of the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS).

Two such cars are available. AIA is offering a Mitsubishi Lancer GLX Sports Variant, and DaimlerChrysler is sponsoring a Mercedes-Benz E-Class for the best golfers of the event.

This is the second year AIA has organised a golf tournament in support of SCS. AIA has set its donation target at $800,000, up from $500,000 last year. The company hopes to raise the cash through business associates and its staff and agency force to help fund SCS programmes, such as hospice home care, rehabilitation support, free cancer screenings and public education initiatives.

The tournament will be held on July 11, 2007 at Tanah Merah Country Club, Tampines Course.
