SEPANG, Malaysia, March 23 (Reuters) - Team by team analysis of Sunday?s Malaysian Grand Prix (teams listed in 2007 championship order):

FERRARI (Kimi Raikkonen 1, Felipe Massa retired)
World champion Raikkonen put Ferrari back on the right track after their Australian disappointment with his 16th win. Massa started on pole position but spun off on lap 31. The Brazilian has yet to score a point this season.

BMW SAUBER (Robert Kubica 2, Nick Heidfeld 6)
Kubica?s best result of his fledgling F1 career and second podium finish. Heidfeld set the fastest lap in the closing
stages. BMW have taken two second places in two races.

RENAULT (Fernando Alonso 8, Nelson Piquet 11)
Spaniard Alonso lost ground at the start but fought back to finish in the points for the second race in a row. Piquet
chalked up his first grand prix finish.

WILLIAMS (Nico Rosberg 14, Kazuki Nakajima 17)
Rosberg started 16th and collided with Glock at the start, forcing an unscheduled pitstop for a new front wing. He also had a problem with his car?s fuel system. Nakajima started at the back after collecting a 10 place penalty in Australia. He also had a puncture and spun off.

RED BULL (Mark Webber 7, David Coulthard 9)
Webber took Renault-powered Red Bull?s first points of the season with the added satisfaction of beating both Renaults. After being pitched out twice by suspension failures in the space of a week, Coulthard could be happy to finish.

TOYOTA (Jarno Trulli 4, Timo Glock retired)
Toyota?s first points of the year. Trulli started fifth, touched Heidfeld at the first corner but then kept up with the
McLarens and held off Hamilton to the flag. Glock was hit from behind by Williams? Rosberg on the opening lap, breaking the car?s suspension.

TORO ROSSO (Sebastien Bourdais and Sebastian Vettel retired)
Vettel had problems changing gear and then the car caught fire as he pulled over to stop. Bourdais spun into the gravel on the first lap.

HONDA (Jenson Button 10, Rubens Barrichello 13)
Barrichello exceeded the pit lane speed limit after his second stop and took a drive-through penalty. Button said 10th
place was a true reflection of the car?s performance.

SUPER AGURI (Anthony Davidson 15, Takuma Sato 16)
Davidson completed his first full race distance since last year?s Brazilian season-ender. Sato ran wide after his first
pitstop but both cars showed good reliability.

FORCE INDIA (Giancarlo Fisichella 12, Adrian Sutil retired)
Sutil retired with a hydraulic problem on lap five after moving from 20th to 14th. Fisichella made a poor start and fell to 20th but fought back strongly during the race.

MCLAREN (Heikki Kovalainen 3, Lewis Hamilton 5)
Kovalainen took the second podium finish of his Formula One career, and first for McLaren. Hamilton lost time in his first pitstop, when the nut locking mechanism on his front right wheel failed, and his water bottle also malfunctioned. His championship lead over Raikkonen is now three points.
