Right. Aston Martin's next offering, called the Cygnet, isn't a sleek sportscar, but rather a new luxury compact commuter concept, much akin to the little Toyota iQ.

Sounds bizarre? Well, the company is working together with Toyota in developing the Cygnet, which will use the iQ, the world's smallest four-seater, as its basis.

Aimed at the Aston Martin owner looking for that second or third car which is luxurious, yet eco-conscious, the Cygnet will be tailored specifically to customer requirements at Aston Martin's global headquarters in Gaydon in England. You can imagine that it'll be tastefully appointed and equipped with all the bells and whistles they can pack in it ....
